When is a company a future-oriented company? If it is innovative, has a clear digitisation strategy, pursues sustainability goals, practices modern management and focuses on the employees. Because ABICOR BINZEL fulfills all of these points, it can now call itself the »employer of the future«.

The award was presented by the Deutsche Innivationsinstitut für Nachhaltigkeit und Digitalisierung DIND (German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitisation) and the business magazine DUP UNTERNEHMER in the ARTIUM of the DVAG building in Frankfurt/Main. On behalf of ABICOR BINZEL, COO Philip Röhrig and Director Finance & Administration Arndt Rosendahl received with great pleasure the trophy on this evening from former Federal Minister of Economics Brigitte Zypries. As patron of the initiative, she says: "We want to help companies to make their strengths visible and thus to be successful in the competition for the brightest minds."Arbeitgeber_der_zukunft_2_After all, there is a shortage of skilled workers everywhere.

“The award is for us both an incentive to continue and appreciation. It will certainly help us with positioning and perception by potential applicants. We will continue to make every effort to be an attractive employer,” explains Arndt Rosendahl.

ABICOR BINZEL Human Resources Manager Jörg Schurich adds: “From a personnel point of view, we are very proud to have received this award, because it encourages us to continue and expand on the path we have chosen. Not only that, as a highly innovative and internationally diversified company, we can offer a large number of interesting and secure jobs. We can also offer above-average general conditions such as remuneration, mobile working and additional benefits.”

Together against the shortage of skilled workers

Every company knows the challenge of finding suitable young professionals. Potential employees today have different expectations of their new job. Unlike 20 years ago, the focus is on the workplace design itself, individual training and further education opportunities, flexible remuneration models, benefits and the compatibility of work and private life. In order to be perceived as an attractive employer, companies must actively communicate why an application is worthwhile. In the omnipresent »struggle for the best«, clear positioning is essential.
