Every four years, the time usually has come: The world's leading trade fair SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN attracts international trade visitors to the halls of Messe Essen again. But this year everything was different: Due to the current overall situation, the doors of Messe Essen will not open again until September 11 to 15, 2023, for the leading trade fair for all matters relating to cutting, joining and coating.
But during the DVS CONGRESS, which took place in September as an attendance event on the fairgrounds of Messe Essen, there was already a preview of the new concept of Messe Essen and what the visitors can expect in 2023.
Project manager Christina Kleinpaß from Messe Essen was able to give us an exclusive insight into the exhibition halls to shorten the waiting time for those keen on welding technology. The modern entrance area of Messe Essen will welcome visitors with lots of light in the next year. Arriving in the glass foyer is the perfect start to each trade fair visit. The halls of Messe Essen have been modernized and expanded, creating the perfect conditions for SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2023.
For all exhibitors, it will be particularly helpful that all service partners can be found in Hall 6 in a condensed service center. This will certainly simplify the organization of such a large trade fair as SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN, which was last held in 2017. The participating service partners of Messe Essen will ensure that the exhibitors are provided with all the important things, such as electrics, water, and much more. A central contact point is enormously helpful for such a huge event as SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN is.
We are looking forward to being on site again in 2023 with our sister companies at the IBG Industrial Park, where we will be able to exchange information about new products and technologies with welding experts from all over the world.
