Despite or perhaps because of the tough corona months, we are particularly proud to welcome eight new apprentices this year.

The media are full of reports about the problem that many companies will have fewer or no apprentices this year. Therefore, it is all the more encouraging that we were able to welcome eight new apprentices for the new training year 2021/2022.

An electrician for devices and systems, two cutting machine operators, two industrial mechanics and two industrial clerks started their apprenticeship on August 2nd. This year, for the first time, we can also welcome a trainee as an IT specialist for system integration. On their first day at ABICOR BINZEL, everyone got a first exciting glimpse into the world of welding. In the company’s own Innovation and Technology Centre (ITC) they were able to experience a welding demonstration up close and asking questions was expressly allowed. In a subsequent company tour they could take a look at all four plants with their many different areas and the new office building, which is about to be completed. Here, the new apprentices came very close to their future workplaces.

Even our Management Jens Schleicher, Prof.-Dr. Emil Schubert and the Commercial Director Arndt Rosendahl, insisted on personally welcoming our new trainees. Overall, the welcome day was packed with many new impressions for the new apprentices to take home after their first day at work.

Training future specialists and managers is and will remain an important point in ABICOR BINZEL's corporate development. In this way, experienced employees pass their know-how on to the next generation and ensure that knowledge can stay within the company.

We wish our new employees a successful start in our company and lots of fun during their apprenticeship.
